Elocution competition held in Greenville, Sydney

Student Vibes Australia organized a elocution competition titled, “Now, I Will Speak Too.” The program of such kind was organized for the first time amongst the Nepal society residing in Australia. Roshan Kadaria bagged the winning prize, followed by Anita Poudel and Bhuwan Timalsina in second and third position respectively.
The competition mainly focused on the role of youth in bringing the skills and knowledge learned in Australia back to their home country, Nepal.  Acharya Rajan Sharma Bhimsen Sapkota, CEO of Southern Academy Man KC, Principal of Sydney City College of Management Ranju Wagle Thapa, Leadership Binod Poudel and Board Member of Opera Academy Anu Regmi were the judges. The 12 best contestants in the competition were selected from the virtual audition. Madan Koirala and Badri Baruwal were the coordinators of the event. The first place winner received 500 Australian dollars, along with an additional bonus of 200 dollars, a certificate, trophy, medal, hair and beauty voucher worth 250 dollars and a mo:mo voucher worth  200 dollars. The first runner-up received  300 Australian dollars, an additional bonus of 100 dollars, a certificate, trophy, medal, 250 dollars worth of hair and beauty vouchers, and a 150 dollars mo:mo voucher. The second runner-up received  200 dollars and 100 dollar bonus from the organizers, as well as a trophy, a certificate, a  250 dollars worth of hair and beauty voucher, and a 100 dollar mo:mo voucher.
In the program, Madan Koirala and Badri Baruwal thanked the participants and informed them that another season of this competition will be held soon. Deb Bahadur Gurung, Vice President of Non-Resident Nepali Association Australia was the chief guest of the competition while Nanda Gurung, spokesperson of Non-Resident Nepali Association Australia was the special guest of the event.
