CSR, also known as Corporate Social Responsibility, is a social strategy regulated by the company for the betterment of the society. It is a policy practiced by companies which aims to contribute towards the fulfillment of environmental, philanthropic, ethical, and economic responsibility. It works for the betterment of the society and environment through sustainable and ethical approach.
We, Student Vibes, have initiated many CSR projects from the very beginning of our establishment. As we aim to work towards a better society through various approaches, CSR is the best way to get in touch with the reality of the society from a root level. As a part of our early CSR project, we have organized different events that emphasize the enhancement of the society.
1. Elocution competition held in Greenville, Sydney
We organized a elocution competition titled, “Now, I Will Speak Too” in Australia. We organized the program of such kind for the first time amongst the Nepal society residing in Australia. Roshan Kadaria bagged the winning prize, followed by Anita Poudel and Bhuwan Timalsina in second and third position respectively.
2. Scholarship amount of Rs 50,000 donated to Kopila Pun
As a part of our CSR project, we have donated Rs 50,000 to 18-year-old Kopila Pun, a class 11 student at Myagdi Multiple Campus, in collaboration with Rekha Memorial Trust. Miss Pun expressed her gratitude towards us for being able to continue her study.
3. Scholarship provided to Krishika B.K.
Our founders, Badri and Kedar Baruwal, from Student Vibes have provided educational scholarship to Krishika B.K. through Rekha Memorial Trust. With the motto of “Access for All”, we believe in helping students with financial needs so that they can continue their education. Krishika B.K. is a burn victim which led to amputation of both of her hands.
We believe in giving back to the community. Along with organizing awareness programmas, we have also initiated different campaigns that involve youths. No child should be left behind due to poverty. Education should be accessible to all and as a realization, we have taken an amazing initiative of providing scholarships to underprivileged kids so that they can continue their education and make this society a better place.
